Dick Dale Drums and Hums Misirlou Iconic Guitarist Dick Dale who invented the Surf Guitar genre of music played a concert on a boat sailing around Manhattan Sunday Oct. 23 for the Rocks Off Concert Cruise series. Here we ask him about one of his most famous songs, "Misirlou" and
we're delighted when he drums the rhythm and hums it for us on camera. He does the original version that he learned with his uncles in Massachusetts, before he made the song his own and it appeared in "Pulp Fiction."
